The Advantages of choosing a Caribbean Cruise
******************************************************************************************
Cheap caribbean cruise vacation packages are readily available at many locations. You can find great deals on the web, in newspapers, advertised on television, and of course at your local travel agency. If you’re on the fence about deciding whether or not a cheap Caribbean cruise vacation is for you, consider all the advantages they afford you. There are a few very compelling arguments why you should opt for a Caribbean cruise over, say a traditional hotel or all-inclusive resort. In the end though, it all comes down to what you’re looking for out of your vacation.
1) Going on a Caribbean cruise around the Caribbean is easily one of the most cost-effective ways to see many destinations. For example, most Caribbean cruise ships with a 7 day itinerary will stop at numerous ports, such as the Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. Jonh, Puerto Rico, St. Martin,
Mexico, Grand Carman, Key West, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, etc… Depending on the Caribbean cruise you choose, you will have a chance to land and explore several of these on your trip. By choosing a Caribbean cruise, you are effectively only paying for one set of accommodations, food, entertainment, and transportation! What a great deal!
2) While a Caribbean cruise may seem expensive up front, consider how much is being covered all by the one time cost of the vacation package. It’s very easy to stay in budget on a Caribbean cruise since most of your major expenses are all upfront in the cost of the overall package. Bring a little money for excursions so that you can pick up some souvenirs, as well as for miscellaneous expenses on board the cruise ship.
3) You don’t need to worry about all the planning. Caribbean cruises are a lot like all inclusive resorts, in that everything you will need for a great trip is provided for you. Depending on the cruise you choose, most likely you will have every major convenience. Round trip airfare is typically included in the cost of the overall package, so that you don’t need to go to the hassle of planning out flights in addition to the trip itself.
4) On board the ship, many forms of entertainment are available including movie theaters, pools, games, and various other activities for guests. Gambling and onboard casinos are often available as well, although normally you will need to bring money in order to participate in that.
5) Another great aspect of Caribbean cruises are the meals. Typically all of your meals are covered, and buffet meals are usually provided for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bars are typically included as well, so if you plan to consume alcohol it is often provided free of charge.
6) Excursions are obviously a major selling point for Caribbean cruises as well. As the boat travels around the caribbean, you will have a chance to stop off at major cities and explore. It can be extremely exciting to take some time off the boat to explore the city, shop around in the stores and stands that have been set up, eat at local restaurants, and really experience the culture of the islands first hand. Many Caribbean cruise ships will often stop at little uninhabited islands as well, giving you a chance to relax by the beach in a quiet, remote location.
